<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor gas sensor capable of accurately detecting desired detection target gas such as an odor component by inhibiting alcohol detection.SOLUTION: A semiconductor gas sensor X comprises: a noble metal wire 1; a gas sensitive part 2 that covers the noble metal wire 1 and that is formed by using a metal oxide semiconductor mainly containing tin oxide or indium oxide with molybdenum oxide being added to the metal oxide semiconductor; and a catalyst layer 3 provided on an outer circumference of the gas sensitive part 2, at least one selected from among a group consisting of alumina, silica, silica alumina, and zeolite being used as a carrier, at least tungsten oxide or molybdenum oxide being carried by the catalyst layer 3.</p> |
