A method for manufacturing a decorative molding, said method comprising decorating, in a mold, the surface of a fiber-reinforced resin molding that comprises a carbon fiber partly existing as carbon fiber bundles and a thermoplastic resin, wherein the pressure in the mold is controlled in a cooling step to thereby provide a decorative molding having a highly smooth surface and a favorable appearance.
