A portable polyethylene or poly pipe borer apparatus comprising a pipe borer having a rotary cutter adapted to be installed and removed from a pipe joining frame; the cutter adapted to be advanced against an open end of a first pipe in the frame wherein on boring the pipe, the borer is removed and a second pipe located in the frame to be joined to the first pipe. A method of use of the same.
