PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce waste of a stator winding and to facilitate insertion of a coil into a slot in a stator core.SOLUTION: The stator winding of a rotary electric machine is constituted of a single layer of double winding coil in each phase pole winding. The single layer of overlapped-winding coil is constituted of a combination coil in which two or more separated unit coils with identical phase are disposed being overlapped with each other in a diameter direction of the stator core in a slot in the stator core.
