<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing reduced iron capable of blending a carbonaceous reducing agent at the optimum blending amount.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing reduced iron in which, in a method of heating a lumpy material including an iron oxide-containing substance and a carbonaceous reducing agent, and iron oxide in the lumpy material is reduced to produce reduced iron, the blending amount of the carbonaceous reducing agent is regulated based on the degree of graphitization in the carbonaceous reducing agent. By measuring the Raman spectrum of the carbonaceous reducing agent, the degree of graphitization can be grasped.</p> |
