PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect a terminal to an access point without causing a user to feel awareness, to support communication between the terminal and a service provision side.SOLUTION: A communication support system comprises: storage means 14 in which a user identifier and an available access point 5 associated with the user identifier are stored; reception means 11 for receiving an access point list and a user identifier from a terminal 6; selection means 12 which acquires an access point 5 available to the received user identifier from the storage means 14, and selects the available access point 5 acquired from the storage means 14 as an access point 5 to which the terminal 6 is to connect when the available access point 5 exists in the received access point list; and transmission means 13 for transmitting information on the selected access point 5 to the terminal 6 to make the terminal 6 connect to the access point 5.
