<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely and smoothly perform accounting of use charge of a toll area when a car exits from the toll area.SOLUTION: When a vehicle enters a tool area, an on-vehicle apparatus 3 stores entrance information transmitted from an entrance path side machine 7 and ID information on an IC card 5 in a memory 13 to write the entrance information in the storage area of the IC card 5. The on-vehicle apparatus 3 compares the ID information stored in the memory 13 with the ID information read out from the inserted IC card to detect, when they coincide, that the IC card is correctly inserted. When the vehicle exits from the toll area, an exit path side machine 9 performs accounting using the entrance information written into the IC card 5.</p> |
