<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that reduces the trouble in which well-transferred parts and poorly-transferred parts are formed during a process of transferring to the rear surface of a recording medium even when a fixing device is installed, which can heat each of ranges of the recording medium obtained by division in the width direction with respect to a fixing member.SOLUTION: When transferring a toner image carried on an intermediate transfer belt (image carrier) to the rear surface of a recording medium P, an image forming apparatus makes transfer bias variable, which is to be applied to each of ranges 89a to 89h obtained by division in the width direction with respect to a secondary transfer roller 89 according to conditions of heating by a heating roller (heating means) for each of ranges 25A to 25H obtained by division in the width direction when the toner image is fixed to the front surface of the recording medium P by a fixing device.</p> |
