<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat setting lithographic printing ink composition used in lithographic printing, especially a waterless printing nik without discharge of damping water, which allows improvement of scumming resistance, receptivity and glossiness, problems of waterless printing.SOLUTION: A lithographic printing ink composition comprises a pigment, a binder resin, an aluminum-based gelling agent, a petroleum solvent and a plant oil and uses a rosin-modified phenol resin having a weight average molecular weight and solubility each in specified ranges, a specified amount of the aluminum-based gelling agent and a liquid polyethylene having an aniline point in a specified range, allowing improvement of scumming resistance, receptivity and glossiness.</p> |
