1. An assembly for use with SPE materials for sequential filtration and extraction of a solid, the assembly comprising:
an extraction cartridge; a filtration cartridge configured to receive, at bottom, the extraction cartridge, the filtration cartridge having a bottom opening and a membrane covering the bottom opening so as to impede passage of the solid through the filtration cartridge; and an extraction cartridge cap;
the extraction cartridge, configured at top to be received by the filtration cartridge, the extraction cartridge having a top opening, a bottom opening configured to receive the extraction cartridge cap; andthe extraction cartridge cap having a central opening large enough to allow elution through the extraction cartridge and small enough to retain said SPE materials within the extraction cartridge when it is so charged. |
