PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge device in which measures are taken against noise sufficiently and which includes a cable which can handle even when a transmission rate of a signal is large.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge device includes: a first piezoelectric element PTZ (1); a first cavity CA (1); a first nozzle NZ (1); a second piezoelectric element PTZ (2); a second cavity CA (2); a second nozzle NZ (2); a driving signal generation unit 14 for generating a driving signal for displacing the first piezoelectric element or the second piezoelectric element; a driving signal transmission path for transmitting the driving signal from the driving signal generation unit to the first piezoelectric element or to the second piezoelectric element; and a cable 20 for configuring at least one part of the driving signal transmission path. The cable includes: a driving signal transmission line for configuring at least one part of the driving signal transmission path; and a shield line in which the potential is fixed. The driving signal transmission line has a characteristic impedance of a predetermined range. |
