PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a size defect of a cut strengthened glass panel.SOLUTION: In a cutting method for strengthened glass plate as a first embodiment of the present invention, a cutting line of the strengthened glass plate includes a corner part and a straight part, irradiation energy E2 of laser light, irradiating the strengthened glass plate at the corner, per unit irradiation area is made larger than irradiation energy E1 of the laser light, irradiating the strengthened glass plate at the straight part, per unit irradiation area, and a switching speed from the irradiation energy E2 at the corner part to the irradiation energy E1 at the straight part is made smaller than a switching speed from the irradiation energy E1 at the straight part to the irradiation energy E2 at the corner part. |
