<p>A holder for smart cards, in particular SIM cards and/or memory cards, is configured in the form of a plate which protects the smart cards held therein against bending, said plate having therein a slot for one smart card or individual slots for each smart card, said slots being open at the edge of the plate and holding smart cards by means of the force of friction arising between a smart card and the walls of a slot during insertion of the smart card in and removal of the smart card from the slot. The holder can be in the form of a plastic card, i.e. plate, having a length of 86 mm, a width of 54 mm and a thickness of from 0.4 to 1.5 mm.</p> |
