PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent, in a vehicle having a pre-vehicle-stop engine automatic stop function and a collision avoidance support brake function, a start device and a collision avoidance support brake from operating at the same time.SOLUTION: A control device of a vehicle comprises: engine automatic stop control means 20 which automatically stops an engine 1 when a predetermined permission condition is satisfied during traveling of the vehicle and restarts the engine 1 when a predetermined cancel condition is satisfied; and collision avoidance support brake means 21 which can generate larger brake force than brake force by brake pedal operation of a driver on the basis of a distance to an obstacle existing ahead in the direction of vehicle travel. When the collision avoidance support brake means 21 operates in a state that the engine automatic stop control means 20 automatically stops the engine 1 before stop of the vehicle, the control device prohibits restarting of the engine 1 accompanied with operation of a device for starting. |
