PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens holder drive unit less susceptible to failure due to dust.SOLUTION: A lens holder drive unit (10) includes; an AF unit (20) having permanent magnets (28); and a camera shake correction unit which corrects for shaking of a camera by moving the AF unit (20) relative to a fixed unit (13). The camera shake correction unit includes; a support member (16) for swingably supporting the AF unit (20); and camera shake correction coils (18) located on the fixed unit (13). The fixed unit (13) includes; a coil substrate (40) which has the camera shake correction coils (18) formed thereon and an inner circumferential wall (40c) that defines a circular opening (40c); and a dust prevention member (47) which covers at least the inner circumferential wall (40c) of the coil substrate (40) to prevent the inner circumferential wall (40c) of the coil substrate (40) from being scratched and generating dust thereby.
