PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a vehicle capable of achieving both protection of a clutch and securement of start performance in a well-balanced manner by appropriately performing brake cooperative control for preventing backward movement of a vehicle parking on an uphill road according to a load of the clutch.SOLUTION: In a control device of a vehicle, if a target drive torque TRQVCMD of a vehicle V is more than zero, and a vehicle speed VP is approximately zero, the vehicle V is determined to be in a stall state (Steps 3, 4, and 9 of Fig. 4). When the vehicle V is determined to be in a stall state, load parameters (clutch difference torque &Dgr;TRQCL, clutch temperature TCL, and vehicle speed VP) indicating a load of a first clutch 7 or a second clutch 8 connected are detected, and based on the detection result, braking is performed by a second brake device 70, and brake cooperative control for cutting off the first cutch 7 or the second clutch 8 is performed.(Steps 10, 11, and 16 of Fig. 4, and Fig. 5). |
