PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a &bgr;-glucosidase enzyme derived from Acremonium cellulolyticus for effectively performing enzymatic saccharification of cellulosic biomass, a polynucleotide encoding the &bgr;-glucosidase, an expression vector for expressing the &bgr;-glucosidase, and a transformant incorporated with the expression vector, and a production method of a cellulose decomposition product using the &bgr;-glucosidase.SOLUTION: A polypeptide has &bgr;-glucosidase activity, and is composed of a specific amino acid sequence, an amino acid sequence in which one or several amino acids are deleted, substituted or added in the specific amino acid sequence, or an amino acid sequence having 92% or more of sequence identity with the specific amino acid sequence. |
