<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine whether a mobile object OB approaches from an oblique direction to a road where an own vehicle travels.SOLUTION: A mobile object approach determination device sets an approach determination region GR for determining approach of a mobile object OB to a road LD and a detection region DR for detecting the mobile object OB. The mobile object approach determination device determines whether the mobile object OB approaches the approach determination region GR when the mobile object OB moves from the position of the mobile object OB in the detection region DR with a travel speed component of the mobile object OB in parallel and perpendicular to a direction of travel FD for a predetermined time.</p> |
