<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic faucet device using a radio wave sensor for making a detection range reliably wider toward the downstream side along an area around a water flow from a water discharge port even when discharging bubbled water. <P>SOLUTION: The automatic faucet device includes directivity determining means for determining the directivity of radio waves emitted from a radio wave emission port 27. The directivity determining means is configured so that the radio waves interfere with the water flow to make a region having high radio field intensity, out of the detection range of the radio wave sensor, wider toward the downstream side along an area around the water flow during discharging the water than cutting off the water. A water pipe 20 is configured to discharge washing water including bubbles of air from a water discharge port 26, and attenuation inhibiting means is also provided for inhibiting the radio waves emitted from the radio wave emission port 27 from being attenuated by the water flow of the washing water including the bubbles of air. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
