<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To send warning information in more suitable timing by monitoring user operation on some equipment and adequately determining whether user operation is done on the equipment. <P>SOLUTION: A television set 100 includes: a timer unit 330 which measures the time when no user operation is performed; an alert generation unit 340 (warning unit) which generates an alert (warning information) when the measured time exceeds a preset time; a determination unit 320 which determines whether some control signal results from user operation when the control signal is input; and a resetting unit 335 which increases the difference between the measured time by the timer unit 330 and the preset time when it is determined that the input control signal results from the user operation, and does not increase the difference when it is determined that the input control signal does not result from the user operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
