<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily cope with changes in the position and width of a strip member 15 while being simple in structure, compact and low in cost. <P>SOLUTION: A storage space 32 of a suction holding member 30 is partitioned into a sealed negative pressure region 43 and play regions 44, 45 by two pistons 41, 42 stored in the storage space 32, and a suction means 56 is connected to the negative pressure region 43. When the position and width of the strip member 15 are changed, the pistons 41, 42 are moved corresponding to the changes to change the position and length of the negative pressure region 43.
