A latch comprises an engaging member 3 and a receiving member 5 for mounting on a closure flap and front wall respectively of a casing, the engaging member having a catch member 8 and the receiving member having a first opening 9 for receiving the catch member and a second opening 6, a latching means 12 slidably mounted in the receiving member and biased by a spring 14 toward engagement with the catch member to retain the catch member therein and release means, a bar 13 on the latching means depressable through the second opening for withdrawal of the latching means from the catch member. An ejector spring 10 with a centrally projecting plate 11, ejects the catch member when the latching means is released. The plate 11 projects into or behind the opening 9 and bears upon the upper end of the latching means thus holding it in releasing position, until the catch member is again inserted in the opening 9.</p> |
