<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic sensor and electronic apparatus with excellent accuracy in detecting a detection object. <P>SOLUTION: An ultrasonic sensor 10 includes: a transmission array 20 where multiple transmission elements 21 for transmitting ultrasonic waves are arranged in an array shape; and reception arrays 30 where multiple reception elements 31 for receiving the ultrasonic waves reflected against a detection object are arranged in array shapes. At least three or more reception arrays 30 are arranged on the outer side of the outer peripheral edges of the transmission array 20.
