<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cut waste of a roll sheet and a printing material which occurs at the roll end of the roll sheet solidly stuck to a shaft core. <P>SOLUTION: In an inkjet recording apparatus 1 including a printing part 12, and upstream and downstream cutters 10 and 14 provided on the upstream and the downstream of the printing part 12, and configured to use the roll paper P solidly stuck on the paper core, when the roll end of the roll paper P is detected, the roll paper P is cut by the upstream cutter 10. In this case, a paper discharge control is performed in consideration of whether the roll paper P in the conveyance path 20 has been already printed, whether the roll paper P has a printable length when not printed, and whether the end paper generated when the printed roll paper P was cut by the downstream cutter 14 by a prescribed length can be discharged. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
