<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The system has a creasing unit for creasing sheets output by a thermal printer (3) to fold the sheets and store the sheets in folded form. An adhesive application unit pastes some of the sheets. A flipping unit flips a part of a cover sheet. The sheets are received and compiled on a delivery board provided with registration features. The delivery board performs translational movement in a direction parallel to transporting direction of the sheets, and moves between multiple positions in synchronization with the adhesive application unit. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# System for automatically producing a bound album i.e. digital photo album, with individual sheets, respective intermediate sheets and a cover sheet. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The system allows a user to utilize the thermal printer to print different negatives produced by digital photography and produce the photo album immediately. The system is provided with a built-in trimmer to ensure clean cutting of free edges of the sheets so as to make a perfect album. The album can be transferred to the operational area of the trimmer by the delivery board, thus ensuring safety by eliminating hazardous manipulation. The system is equipped with an ejection mechanism that ensures ejection of the album after finishing the cutting process by the trimmer to the level of a box or receptacle from where the album can be collected by the user. The system facilitates ejection of the fold made in the body of the sheet through the action of punch, and prevents the sheet from catching against the edge of the die. The delivery board can be fitted on height-adjustable guide rails in order to keep the height of the upper sheet of the album constantly regardless of number of sheets in the album. The system adopts presser rolls to ensure cohesion and integrity of the album. The system can be controlled by a programmable logic controller or a logic circuitry, which ensures activation of different types of motors and processing of signals transmitted by the sensors. The system can make photo albums of varying thicknesses up to 20 sheets or 40 pages.
