Container 31 is discharged by being dropped with its feet 34 on to parts 22 of base 21, the bottom 16 engaging in sealed relation with conduit 23 which is discharged by screw 59. Mode of sealing (Fig. 2).-Container 31 is closed by sliding plate 36 which is locked in position by handles 51 which by means of cams 53 move plate 36 against seal 46. The container rests on gasket 28 which is mounted resiliently by means of ring 27 on rubber sleeve 26 on the conduit 23. |
