<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a tire, which has favorable processability, and can improve rolling resistance characteristics, abrasion resistance, and wet grip performance with sufficient balance; and to provide a pneumatic tire in which the rubber composition for a tire is used for each part material (especially for a tread) of a tire. <P>SOLUTION: The rubber composition for a tire includes a silica in which a CTAB specific surface area is at least 180 m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>/g, and a BET specific surface area is at least 185 m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>/g, and a compound shown by formula (1). In the formula (1), R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>denotes a hydrogen atom, a branched or unbranced 1-30C alkyl group, a branched or unbranced 2-30C alkenyl group, a branched or unbranced 6-30C aryl group or a hydroxy group; R<SP POS="POST">2</SP>and R<SP POS="POST">3</SP>identically or differently denote a hydrogen atom, a branched or unbranced 1-30C alkyl group, a branched or unbranced 2-30C alkenyl group, a branched or unbranced 2-30C alkynyl group, a branched or unbranced 6-30C aryl group or a group shown by formula (2), a hydrogen atom which the alkyl group, the alkenyl group, the alkynyl group, or the aryl group has may be replaced with a hydroxy group or a carboxyl group; R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>and R<SP POS="POST">2</SP>, R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>and R<SP POS="POST">3</SP>or R<SP POS="POST">2</SP>and R<SP POS="POST">3</SP>may form a ring structure; and n denotes an integer of 0-8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
