<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system and on-vehicle information processor which can specify the location of a vehicle in excellent accuracy by a portable navigation device (a location specifying device). <P>SOLUTION: In the information processing system, an on-vehicle information processor 10 and portable PND (personal navigation device) 20 are connected through a USB cable 4, and information needed to specify the location is collected from information obtained by the on-vehicle information processor 10 through a vehicle inside network 3 and transmitted to the PND 20. The PND 20 specifies the location of the vehicle 1 based on information obtained from a GPS receiver mounted in itself and gyro sensor, and the information received from the on-vehicle information processor 10; the PND 20 relays receiving and transmitting information of the on-vehicle information processor 10 and server 40; and the on-vehicle information processor 10 collects predetermined condition information and transmits it to the server 40 through the PND 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
