<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gate system allowing prevention of unauthorized passage by certainly deciding the unauthorized passage of a gate passage. <P>SOLUTION: The gate system includes: a range image sensor for detecting a distance value of each pixel in a two-dimensional area by making light scan the two-dimensional area near the gate passage 3 of a gate device; an image data processor for extracting a solid image based on a difference image generated based on the distance value of each pixel input from the range image sensor, and deciding a state of a solid passing the gate passage 3 based on the solid image; and a gate controller 9 for controlling the gate device based on image decision results from an image decision unit 52. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
