<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a driving force required from a vehicle more properly while suppressing the deterioration of a secondary battery caused by continuous discharge. <P>SOLUTION: In a hybrid vehicle 20, an output restriction Wout as allowable discharge electric power is corrected so that output restriction Wout is limited to a smaller value as discharge electric power as the discharge of a battery 50 continues.
