<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily attach a back sheet to the lower end of a back outer shell without making a die for manufacturing the back outer shell be complicated, in a chair where the back surface of the back outer shell made of resin is covered with the back sheet (cover material). <P>SOLUTION: A strip-like edge plate 35 is attached to the lower end of the back sheet. The lower end part back surface of the back outer shell 11 is a shouldered cover attachment portion 95 and a lower cover 19 is attached to the cover attachment portion 95. An empty space 19' opening downward is formed between the cover attachment portion 95 and the cover 19 and the edge plate 35 is fitted into the empty space 19' from below. The back sheet 20 is extended upward in a U-turned state, so that the edge plate 35 is held unremovably.
