<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pixel circuit capable of reducing the number of elements in the pixel circuit while realizing extremely low power consumption and further coping with a change in threshold voltage of a transistor in the pixel circuit. <P>SOLUTION: The pixel circuit includes: an electro-optic element; a second switch element controlled by a second control signal on a second control signal line; a first switch element of which one electrode terminal is connected to a control terminal of the second switch element and the other electrode terminal is connected to the other electrode terminal of the second switch element, and that is controlled by a first control signal on a first control signal line; and a capacitative element for holding a sampling result of a voltage level corresponding to image data held in the electro-optic element, the voltage level corresponding to the image data held in the electro-optic element is sampled by the capacitative element via the second switch element by turning on the first switch element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
