<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce discomfort exerting on persons who are present in a region surrounded with low partitions while securing a substantial masking effect in an area outside the region. <P>SOLUTION: Partitions 91F, 91R, 91B, and 91L are erected around a booth 90. Each of the partitions 91F, 91R, 91B, and 91L is disposed with four speakers 1-1-m and 1-2-m between respective speakers at intervals apart therebetween. The speaker 1-1-m of the speakers 1-1-m and 1-2-m is connected to an amplifier 7-1-m of a control unit 1. The speaker 1-2-m is connected to an amplifier 7-2-m of the control unit 1. The control unit 1 supplies the speaker 1-1-m with a tone signal M(k) and supplies the speaker 1-2-m with a tone signal -M(k) that has an inverse phase to that of the tone signal M(k). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
