PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-pressure pump capable of enhancing pressure-proof performance of a seal member.SOLUTION: A cylinder 14 has integrally a storage part 15 for reciprocatably storing a plunger 13 in a housing 11, an annular part 16 extending in the radial outer direction from the opposite side of a pressurizing chamber 121 of this storage part 15, and an insertion part 17 insertable into a high-pressure pump installing hole 201 of an internal combustion engine 200 by extending to the opposite side of the pressurizing chamber 121 in the axial direction from the outer edge of the annular part 16. The seal member 50 formed in a substantially annular shape is connected fluid-tightly at an outer wall in the radial outer direction to an inner wall of the insertion part 17, and the inner wall in the radial inner direction slidingly fluid-tightly contacts with the outer wall in the radial outer direction of a plunger 13 exposed to the opposite side of the pressurizing chamber 121 from the storage part 15. Thus, the storage part 15, the annular part 16 and the insertion part 17 of the cylinder 14 are coaxially formed, and concentricity of the plunger 13 stored in the storage part 15 and the seal member 50 connected to the insertion part 17 is enhanced. |
