A mould providing an equal and uniform pressure, consists of an inflatable cell of flexible material with a valve. The inflatable cell may be of rubber or plastics and have approximately the shape of a foot. The walls may be locally reinforced with an extra thickness of material to avoid splitting at the point where the shoe does not cover the inflatable bag.
