<p>Hollow tube shaped profiles with an axial plane separation wall are produced by the continuous forming of strip into the desired profile. Following this the contact edges are joined with their respective contact planes by means of medium or high frequency heating. In the prefd. process the slotted pipe welding method is employed, in which heat is generated along A V-gap. The method required a minimum number of working steps and is thus very efficient.</p> |
