<p>In a scooter-type vehicle, pillion passenger steps (33) are supported by a body frame so as to be movable between an extended position where the pillion passenger step projects from a body cover and a stored position where the pillion passenger step is folded toward the body cover. The body cover includes a floor cover (43) which covers a low floor portion of the body frame from above and both sides, and a seat side cover (44) which covers a rear portion of the body frame F below a riding seat (28) from the side.
The floor cover (43) is provided with a recessed portion (70) for storing the pillion passenger step (33) in its stored position, and a seat lower cover (45) formed separately from the floor cover (43) and the seat side cover (44) is disposed between the floor cover (43) and the seat side cover (44) so as to be tilted rearward upwardly along an upper edge of the storing recessed portion (70) as viewed from the side.
As the seat lower cover is more likely to be scratched during use, forming it as a separate part allows it to be easily replaced at low cost.</p> |
