<p>There is provided a biometrics authentication apparatus which improves the accuracy of authentication in an authentication process. A biometrics authentication apparatus (1) acquires biometric information (7) by a biometric information acquisition section (2) and acquires first registered information (8) and second registered information (9) by a registered information acquisition section (3). The biometrics authentication apparatus (1) generates a comparison score (10) from the first registered information (8) and the biometric information (7), compares the comparison score (10) and a threshold (11), and outputs an authentication result (12), by an authentication section (4). The biometrics authentication apparatus (1) generates a comparison score (13) for each of combinations of two of the biometric information (7) by which success in authentication is obtained, the first registered information (8), and the second registered information (9), evaluates the comparison score (13), and generates an evaluation result (14), by a comparison evaluation section (5). When the biometric information (7) may be good second registered information (9), the biometrics authentication apparatus (1) treats the biometric information (7) as new second registered information (9) by a replacement section (6) .</p> |
