摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repairing method for a furnace of a converter, by which working hours for repairing the furnace at a site can be minimized so that an idle period of the converter due to the repair of the furnace can be shorten as much as possible, when the repair of the furnace is performed such that only a bottom section of the converter is partly renewed. <P>SOLUTION: When only a bottom section of a converter is renewed by cutting a furnace body to separate the bottom section y<SB POS="POST">O</SB>from a furnace shell section x and then joining a new bottom section y<SB POS="POST">N</SB>to the furnace shell section x, a tentatively determined cutting position and a three dimensional shape of the outer face of the furnace body around the cutting position are measured by a three dimensional measuring device, and fabrication of the new bottom section y<SB POS="POST">N</SB>on which the results of the three dimensional shape measurement are reflected, determination of the final cutting position, and an additional processing of the new bottom section y<SB POS="POST">N</SB>as required are performed. Thus, a large unevenness is not caused at a matched face between the furnace shell section x of the old furnace body and the new bottom section y<SB POS="POST">N</SB>, so that an additional processing work for correcting the unevenness at the matched face at a site can be eliminated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p>
