<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC-DC converter capable of stably outputting a voltage regardless of a variation in a power-supply voltage, while suppressing the complication of a circuit and a variation in an operating range of an amplifier. <P>SOLUTION: A DC-DC converter 1 amplifies a voltage according to a current value detected by a current detection section 13 by using an amplification section 22, and steps-up and outputs a voltage of a main power-supply section 11 by turning on/off a switching element Tr according to a signal outputted from a voltage comparison section 23 for comparing the amplified voltage and a reference voltage.
