<p>A rear lens located nearest to an image-forming plane in a compound image pickup lens has a barrel insert portion formed around a peripheral edge inserted in a lens holding portion, and an out-of-barrel lens portion in continuity to the barrel insert portion, of an outer diameter larger than an inner diameter of the lens holding portion and having a confronting surface at a position spaced from an end surface of the lens holding portion, wherein at least the end surface of the lens holding portion and the confronting surface of the out-of-barrel lens portion are fixed with a first adhesive through a spaced portion. The structure can prevent the first adhesive from sticking to the surfaces of image pickup lens.</p> |
