<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce eddy current loss in an inner peripheral part of a stator in a rotary electric machine having a magnet incorporating type rotor including an overhang part, and to improve output efficiency of the rotary electric machine. <P>SOLUTION: A rotor 12 for the rotary electric machine is provided on an inner side of a stator 14 in a cylindrical shape and comprises a magnetic metal plate laminate for which a magnet 32 is inserted and fixed to a magnet insertion hole 34. The rotor 12 includes an overhang part 36 projected from an axial direction end face of a stator core 24 to an axial direction outer side, and a radial direction dimension between an outer periphery of a magnetic steel sheet 17b at the overhang part 36 and an inner peripheral surface of the stator 14 is formed to be larger than a radial direction dimension between an outer periphery of the rotor other than the overhang part and the inner peripheral surface of the stator 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
