<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely prevent overcharge of a power storage device even though an abnormality is caused in a device, which controls charge, itself. <P>SOLUTION: A charge control CPU 30 controls charging of a power storage device 12 which is conducted by a charger 24. A battery CPU 26 controls the state of the charge (SOC) of the power storage device 12. A charge control monitor CPU 32 receives information showing a control state of the charger 24 by the charge control CPU 30 and information showing the charge state of the power storage device 12 respectively from the charge control CPU 30 and the battery CPU 26 and monitors the abnormality of the charge control based on the received information. When the abnormality of the charge control is detected, the charge control monitor CPU 32 performs control to stop the charge of the power storage device 12 which is conducted by the charger 24. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
