<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce deterioration of an image due to digital zooming. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: an imaging element (CCD 121) converting light made incident from an optical system into an electric signal and outputting it as an imaging signal; magnification setting means (digital zooming magnification setting means 101) setting the magnification of digital zooming for cutting a part of an image and enlarging it; variable magnification means (image cutting means 102 and image variable magnification means 103) performing an enlargement processing for cutting a part of the image or a reduction processing for cutting the whole or a part of the image; and a super-resolution means (super-resolution means 104) performing an equal magnification super-resolution processing for improving resolution feeling at equal magnification or an enlargement super-resolution processing for improving the resolution feeling by enlargement on one image imaged by the imaging element or the enlarged/reduced image by the variable magnification means. An execution order of the enlargement processing or the reduction processing by the variable magnification means and the equal magnification super-resolution processing or the enlargement super-resolution processing by the super-resolution means is changed in accordance with the setting magnification of digital zooming by the magnification setting means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
