<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack that can suppress rattling of each unit battery even if the pack is placed under a vibrating environment for a long time. <P>SOLUTION: A unit battery 10 comprises: an almost rectangular shaped battery case 1; and output terminals 2, 3 at its upper part of the battery case. The battery case has coupling members 4, 5 at both short lateral sides, the coupling members having open holes 41, 42, 51, 52 at their upper and lower edge parts. Each open hole is formed in an almost elliptic shape and is formed with its long axial direction facing almost to the center of the battery case. The battery pack 20 has a group of unit batteries 10, and coupling rods 12 for coupling a pair of end plates. The coupling rods are placed in touch with a part of open holes in the center direction of the battery case. In this way, each unit battery is held by a pressing force of the coupling rods from each direction so as to improve the vibration resistance of the battery pack. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
