<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water tub for an offset printing machine that reduces the difference in dampening water temperature between a water supply side and a water discharge side to prevent ink from excessively emulsifying. <P>SOLUTION: The water tub for an offset printing machine includes a metallic bottom plate 17 and metallic side plates 13, 14, 15, 16. The water tub can store dampening water therein by the bottom plate 17 and the side plates 13, 14, 15, 16. The inside of a water tub which is enclosed and defined by the bottom plate 17 and the side plates 13, 14, 15, 16, is provided with a weir comprising: the side plate 15, two stream restriction plates 1, 2 connected almost perpendicularly to the bottom plate 17; and one flow passage guide plate 3 connected to almost perpendicularly to the two stream restriction plates 1, 2 and to the bottom plate 17 and arranged substantially parallel to a flow passage extending between the water supply side and the water discharge side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
