<p>The present invention relates to a lighting device having an energy saving function and a lighting method thereof. The lighting device automatically realizes lighting of various illumination based on different types of power rate patterns according to time, thereby effectively consuming electric energy for lighting. The lighting device having an energy saving function according to the present invention comprises: a light source for lighting; a real-time clock unit to reveal RTC information including time; a memory to store various brightness information of the light source; and a control unit to control brightness of the light source, wherein the control unit identifies the RTC information from the real-time clock unit, and determines and automatically adjusts the brightness of the light source complied to a current time from the brightness information stored in the memory based on the identified RTC information, thereby realizing lighting of different types of illumination according to certain time.</p> |
