<p>An optical member as an object to be inspected is provided to a light source part and an inspection device having an image recording part. The optical member is passed between the light source part and the image recording part in a specific arrangement in order to inspect the optical member. According to an optical member inspection method, the optical member is passed between the light source part and the image recording part while the optical member is in a horizontal position or in a position inclined against the horizontal direction; and the light source part or the image recording part, located above the optical member, is located on an upper stream in the moving direction of the optical member rather than on a location just above a image recording portion by the image recording part in order to detect defects. According to the present invention, attached materials, which are not detected by the image recording part, can be prevented from being mixed with a final optical product.</p> |
