a radiation source; a stent delivery assembly; a sealed storage container containing the stent delivery assembly; and a radiation barrier located behind a selected section of the stent delivery assembly, wherein the radiation barrier is configured to modify radiation delivered to the selected section from the radiation source by backscattering of radiation.
