<p>The present invention relates to a steering column of a vehicle. According to the present invention, when a driver performs a tilt or a telescopic operation on the steering column, the steering column is not instantaneously dropped by the weight thereof, but is slowly dropped, and is not eccentric with respect to a steering shaft. In addition, according to the present invention, when the vehicle collides, the collapse behaviors of a teles-housing and a mounting bracket can be easily performed. The steering column according to the present invention comprises: a lower tube housing the steering shaft therein; the teles-housing coupled to the outer circumferential surface of the lower tube, and performing a telescopic behavior axially; the mounting bracket integrally coupled to a tilt bracket coupled to the teles-housing, and coupled to the body of the vehicle; and a support member having one end coupled to the center of the end of the teles-housing, and having the other end coupled to the center of the top of the lower tube.</p> |
